We took space at Capital Factory, on Brazos Street in downtown Austin.
Attending Supernova this August pretty much settled it. I went to the Capital Factory event not sure what to expect. I found a friendly, focused, no BS group of founders, operators and program people working on national defense. The energy in that building around defense and innovation is real. I saw people meeting in the drink line and breaking off to talk about advanced materials, better RF, bio defense, and, yes, scalable, reliable, and future proof cyber.
At DeepTempo we are mission oriented. We deeply respect and support the efforts of our cyber defenders. Just next week, for example, we are sponsoring the welcoming reception at Hammercon, the annual gathering of the Military Cyber Professionals Association (MCPA).
Supernova and hanging out at the Capital Factory helps us to be in the mix of defense and start-up innovation.
Of course Austin also has a massive cyber community and their embrace of DeepTempo and especially our community efforts also makes this commitment a no brainer. We recently helped set up AI Cyber Alliance meet-ups in Austin with monthly meetings. Several Vigil contributors live in the area. Last but not least, we are honestly just following JVL. If you know John Van Lowe, our Community and Engineering Director, you know. John is based in Austin and is building our presence in Austin.
